Tucked away in a tranquil Tuscan Valley, south of Florence is a farmhouse surrounded by century old olive groves and rows of grapevines. The villa was built in the early 1800’s, young for Italian standards, and owned by only three proprietors. The current owner, with roots in Rome, wanted a family get-a-way to entertain and relax. The property consists of three dwellings all restored in the original limestone with careful and mindful thought to the surrounding gardens. The gardens are densely planted with native grasses, lavender, roses and native Italian cypress trees. Every detail was designed, and construction overseen to create indoor/outdoor environments perfect for entertaining family from abroad, reading on the breezeway, dining on the elevated terrace or lounging pool-side to experience the most breathtaking Italian sunsets.
